If McReligion is using the bible as his guide in their doctrines and teachings, it maybe a Christian religion, however you should study their belief first because there many Christian religion that exist now who have false Pastors

False Pastor or false preacher or false evangelist if the said pastor is only interested on the 10% of your income to be given to the church and other contributions which are not authorized on the bible.

The 10% voluntary contribution is no longer existing on the New Testament but any amount which came from your heart is enough.

Additional answer: I have came to know that the MC which you have written means Methodist Church which is a Christian Religion according to their doctrines. However we do not know whether they are following the teachings of the bible.

Haha. Maybe so… but I do believe that there are other things that are worse and more likely to become “McReligions” [Whatever that means ;P.] Like… scientology? Where you have to pay to become part of the religion!

Christianity started out as a small band of 12 faithful followers of one charasmatic leader (believe what you want about Him). The leader was killed, and the followers continued to spread the leader's message.
Now, 2000 years later, there are over 4 Billion who hold that leader up as a saint, prophet, or the Son of God.

You tell me...

Christianity is the lazy persons religion, its the arm chair religion. One has to do virtually nothing to be Christian. Simply believe. That's why most of the English speaking world loves it. Do nothing get into heaven. It's also why Christians are less likely to convert to Islam. Now there's a religion that insists you actually DO something.

Kind of I guess. Because so many denominations claim, and fall under the category of "Christian." Methodists, Presbyterians, Lutherans, Catholics, Baptists. So "Christianity" is a general term.
