Sounds like you have manic depressive disorder. However, I am not a healthcare professional. You should see a psychiatrist as they are the only ones that can diagnose you. I will say that the symptoms you are expressing are condusive to manic disorder. You have highs and lows, sometimes being on a low does anti-depressent evens you out. If you are in search of alternate ways of healing, try taking a daily vitamin along with daily exercise.

Good luck

One of the things that really affects your mood is the amount of sleep you are getting. When you have a cold you are not going to sleep as well, especially when on cold medications. If you did not get enough sleep, especially when depressed your moods will go from happy to down right mean in no time .

My suggestion, try to get as much rest as you can : ) If you cannot ask your doctor if it is ok to take an over the count sleep pill along with the cold medication you are taking. (Also if it is ok to take it if with any anti-depressants you may or may not be taking).

are you on anti-depressants? they could be working for you, you are so young to be depressed I know it can strike any age but just keep doing what you have been doing and you could be run down from being sick, just give your body time to get better and if you keep feeling this way then go back to the doctor good luck!
