Why does our faith sustain us?
Why does an answer to prayer happen; especially when it is hopeless? Is it because we have faith to believe, or is it luck etc.

People have been sustained by faith in every religion out there, and a few non religious ideals as well...

Faith is believing in something, no matter what it is, with complete confidence. Hope still holds a bit of doubt whereas faith leaves no room for doubt.
