Does your 7 yr old believe in the Easter Bunny? If he does then the 15 yr old should get one just so he isn't confused. If it has nothing to do with the Easter Bunny then just give him $10.00 in a card and I'm sure he'll be thrilled. That's what I do with my kids. My 12 year old isn't much for candy so she gets money and my 8 year old gets a small basket with some toys and a few chocolates. I stopped getting baskets when my mom told my younger brother that she was the Bunny.

I doubt at the age of 15 he is worrying about an Easter basket.

STOP. You are in violation of the Man Code 21. It States " that no male over the age of 12 shall be allowed to get or receive easter basket. He shall not be allowed to go easter egg hunting either". Hey that's the man code, I didn't make it up. I just follow the rules.

I will always get my children a basket for Easter even when they are in their 30's and beyond of course they won't be kiddie baskets like when they were small, but different things as they get older, I just look at it like it is another day I can show my kids how special they are to me and think of them on that day.

well my mom still sends my husband and I baskets in the mail, and we are in our 20's!! It's the thought that counts... just put a basket together with some candy or something simple. It doesn't ahve to be over the top... Easter is a religious holiday anyway, no matter how paganized it is, and not about candy and gifts.

Don't ever stop. My wonderful mom made me an easter basket every year of my life (and also stuffed a stocking at Christmas) until she passed. Those last eight years or so, she got real creative with deodorant, chapstick, pens, phone cards, etc.....
Your kids will love you for it!

My mom made me one until my son was born 2 years ago (and I'm 30, lol). I doubt at 15 he would be offended by not receiving one. If you decide to make one, add a gift certificate ($5) to one of the eggs (movie theater) or something like that.

i don't know, we never make one. we believe its commercialization of a religious holiday. they always got to ruin every holiday by making it into a money maker. easter has nothing to do with bunnies and chocolate.
make the da**ed basket, its really not that big of a decision.

Here's a revolutionary idea. Ask the 15 year-old-whether he wants one!
