Why is he doing this????

So i have been dating this guy i work with for about a year and half. It kind of a secret but everybod basically knows. We are always together giggling and he drives me home and picks me up everyday. Anyway we've being sleeping together for about 6 months. He is the only guy i ever been with and lately i have doubts about if im his only girl. He does things like come in to work on monday and for no reason gives me the cold shoulder for the whole week. No phone call. no eye contact, not even a simple hello. But i do catch him staring at me then hell leave the room. I like him and I think he likes me but this has to stop this is the fifth time hes done something like this. How can we move foward in our relationship if acts like i dont exist and the drop of a hat? What is his deal? Help!

We have been dating not just doing it. Weve both met each others familes and his mother calls me her daughter in law. He's done this before and has shut out his family too but never for that long. But when he does it at work he only does it to me.

We can't really tel you why...only he can. But my guess is that he realizes the difficulties pose with having an inter-office relationship, and maybe this is his way of managing it? Or maybe he is ready for the relationship to come to an end and is just kind of letting things run it's course. Or maybe he is too lazy/cowardly to break it off himself and is waiting for you to do it?

Okay, you've been dating for a year - sleeping together for 6 months and you "think" he likes you and it's "kind of a secret"? He's given you the cold shoulder 5 times now, not talking to you for a whole week during these intervals? Okay, you have to stop this. Read the signs, the man is using you for sex, plain and simple. You aren't exactly a booty-call (where you only see each other for sex and spend no other time together) but I think what you see as a semi-serious relationship, he sees as casual. Have you ever been to his place? Is he married or have a steady gf? It sounds like he's seeing someone else over the weekend for him to act cold to you on Monday. How often do you guys get together? Is it usually a planned night (like every Thursday?). I mean really, read the signs because only you have all the details and I can only make my judgment from the little you told us here. Good luck.

It's a sad state of affairs when you don't know where you stand with this guy after a year and a half. Are you "dating", or just doing it? I'm leaning toward the latter because you would know him better than this. If you were his only girl, I doubt very seriously he'd go that long without calling or talking to you. This doesn't make sense. Don't you think more of yourself than to see this as acceptable behavior? Wake up sweetheart. Respect yourself, and find someone who will give you respect.

Well,I'll tell you this,for one thing it's never good to date someone you work with cuz it's always a hard thing when things don't work out...But in your case I believe he is using you for sex,not that im saying he doesn't like you,it's just that anyone who love get play games r never ready for a relationship!!!I'f I were you I would move on and show him your not sprung and let him see you flirt with someone else,and maybe that will let let see what his missing!!!Good luck....

Your best bet is just to get to him and tell him what is going on and ask him WHY? The longer you hold your feelings about this relationship, the more it will hurt you! Open it UP! You will be better off to know what is going on!!

you pretend he doesn't exist ...he knows he's ur first, and this has been going on for so long that he no longer feels he has to make an effort...just take away that comfort and he'll come running back
