I'm glad I'm from America. What the hell was the one girl talking about?
ANyway, I think this would be cool. Go to Michael's and get one of those very large martini glasses (use a coupon and get it 1/2 off) fill it with water and a little food coloring to match the wedding colors if you can. Float some candles in it. That would be the centerpiece. For favors, go to the dollar store and buy a bunch of martini glasses. Tie and curl matching ribbons to the stems and put a little tealight candle inside each one. The whole thing would cost about about $40 for about 12 of them, including the centerpiece. Good luck.

Put 10 tall narrow vases (approx 1 1/2" in diam) in the center of the table with one flower in each vase. Tie them all together with a ribbon in your bridal colors. At the end of the day, tell the people at the table (usually 10 per table) to take a vase home with them.
that way you cover the centerpiece and favor as one and save some $$$$'s.
What do you think??

You really don't need favors at a shower. For a center piece, go with something unusual like an ice sculpture. Or a beautiful arrangement of spring flowers is always an eye catcher.

Favors aren't needed for a bridal shower, just maybe a few prizes for games.

I never heard the idea before, but I love the suggestion of one of those little cocktail bottles with the couple's picture on it. Honestly, favors aren't needed, and most people really don't want what is given.

I know alot about this type of situation. Keep it simple.. example... How about one of those medium candles in white, put her name and the special event and the date. Go to a florist near by so she can put all the info on a silk tissue to engrave it on the candle. I hope this will give you guys an idea for your friends bridal shower.

My friend was getting married, but now she's preggers, so the party is a baby shower insted! I researched online for days! Here's some of the links i saved in my computer! Personally, i would do a bath crystal soak in a glass container, label each with the persons name and decorate. Go to hobby lobby(the cheapest) or micheals for the glass containers, buy epsom salt and sea salt at the store, at hobby lobby or micheals buy soap fragrance you like, and also buy coconut oil or sunflower oil at the grocery store. Mix together and scoop in each container. They put it in their bubble bath! it's great! And then you can personalize the containers with pictures or lables on the computer and paste them on the glass, fancy up with ribbon...walaa! The first pastes are links for you on some salt soak ideas! For center pieces i love citrus in a bowl of water with flowers. I linked a pic for you. or a real classy simple bunch of peonys in a glass bowl.Good luck!
