The warning given to Adam and Eve was
sufficient.
However, there was no fruit-eating sin in
the Garden of Eden. The sin comitted by
Eve (and Adam following) was much more
devastating than eating an apple.
When they sinned, and tied figleaves together, what did they make? Was it a mask to hide their mouths because they ate fruit? Don't think so......
This rabbit hole goes far deeper than most realize......Eve jeopardized the entire
bloodline that down the ages, womb to womb would come the Christ child.
Understanding what really happened in the Garden is essential to understanding every other thing you read in your Bible. If you do not understand the sin of Eve, you are probably reading the rest of Gods Word
rather confused.....

Why'd he tempt them with the fruit anyway?
It's like I bake a batch of brownies and tell my kids they can only have the cookies on the counter and don't eat the brownies. What the heck did I make them for then?

Adam and Eve were BOTH told that if they ate from that tree "....thou shalt surely DIE." That would've been enough for me! But, not having a concept of what death was and having free will to make the choice to begin with made it difficult.

The NT is fiction, no need to warn about fiction, God did not say "if you eat this fruit, J.K. Rowling will write books about Harry Potter...

#1) Jesus is not God's kid.He was God the 2nd person of the trinity from all eternity. He chose to volunteer to die for us.He even said "I have the power to lay down my life and the power to raise it back up".
He is God's son only in a way that we humans can relate(anthropomorphic).
God expected them to take his word on what He said. They had the Free-Will to do that or not. They chose not to listen and we have been paying for it since.

Maybe there's a reason we had to go through all this. You know the start of it all was when Lucifer became arrogant not when Eve and Adam sinned.

Well he did say: “From every tree of the garden you may eat to satisfaction. But as for the tree of the knowledge of good and bad you must not eat from it, for in the day you eat from it you will positively die.”
Honestly, I think that was enough!

it's the old free will thing- didn't want to sway her decisions- wanted to know if she could make good decisions on her own- OMG I suddenly see why all these freakin christians think that morality comes from god!!! Hahahaha Just cuz their story book says people can't make good decisions on their own doesn't mean it's true!!! I had a breakthrough!!!!!
