A corned beef tin is a lethal weapon anyway i cant understand why they still use the tins
If your lucky enough to open the tin with the key nine times out of ten the sharp tin with get you

Yes and it is always guaranteed to break when I approach the can so I arm myself with a basic tin opener ready to go right round the top and bottom and then I can push the flipping corned beef through and onto a plate.

Most people seem to be recommending a can opener and forgoing the key completely.

I cut a finger quite badly trying to prise a corned beef tin open about twenty years ago and still have the scar. Hate the things.

Yes!! It always breaks and is so annoying! Then you have to try and open in with a tin opener which is even more annoying cos it gets stuck on the corners!!

brought a tin home from the uk 2 weeks ago.. ate it last week with mushy peas

tin didn't have a key it was one of those ring pull tops

nope i always use a tin opener ....had one cut finger experience with a tin of sardines and after that keys becam a no no.
