Some women do not bleed at all. Everyone is different. You shouldn't let it worry you too much. Here is an excerpt from an online health forum.

Dr. Kelly Shanahan, MD -
Not all women bleed the first time they have sex. The hymen is a membrane at the vaginal opening; it has perforations in it so menstrual blood can escape. Sometimes, there is a large central opening. During first intercourse, the hymen may be stretched, rather than torn -- in such a case, there will be no bleeding. Sometimes if the hymen is stretched the first time one has sex, it may tear and bleed later, during more vigorous intercourse.
Sometimes a virgin will have a torn hymen. The hymen can be torn before first sex by tampon use, gynecological exams, a straddle injury (falling on the crossbar of a bike, for example), or other events. If the hymen is already torn, she will not bleed when she has sex for the first time.

Everyone is different - depends on the position and thickness of the hymen. I did not bleed at all - some very athletic women do not. By the way, I agree with above that says it is the best thing you can keep, because you can't ever get it back and its the greatest gift you can give your husband... no matter what some boy tries to say. If a boy gives you pressure, then he's no man for the future.

I didn't even know you bleed. Now the thought of that makes me not want to either.

I think it varies from person to person. It's kinda like having a small period. But you need to be more careful about the person you lose it to. Make sure he's worth it, make sure your in love.
