I am thinking about getting a weave done for the next 6-8 weeks to help my hair rest, should I Perm my hair before I get the weave in. I am afraid my hair will fall out?

Condition your hair and moisturize frequently before getting a sew in, don't get a pern until two weeks after the weave is removed. Weaves can make hair breakage worse because of the thread putting pressure on the hair. I wear a wig. I braid up my hair and put it under a satin cap, put on the wig...I've been doing this for awhile now...
this is my hair when its wet

About a year and a half ago it was barely two inches long... probably not even that.

I have a strict regimine that I follow and because of it I don't see much shedding or breakage.

I don't know if a weave is the answer to breaking hair. When you take your weave out it will still be damaged. I would probably go to the hair salon and get a good hair treatment done as well as getting your hair trimmed and ask them to style it in a way that needs minimal maintenance. Your hair will then grow back healthily

Do not perm & do not get a weave. 1st, condition your hair with conditioner for dry and/or damaged hair, you could also get a hair mask & trim your hair so it'll be even (with the breaking, the hair'll be uneven). NEVER perm your hair less than 2 weeks (at the very least) b4 or after you do someth like a weave, braids etc.
If you do not take care of your hair, it won't fall out, but with time it'll be very uneven & you'll have to cut off huge chunks to even it.

if your hair is already breaking then you should NOT get a perm, weave, or anything else ..... or all of your hair could fall out
instead get a really good conditioner(from a salon or somewhere like Sally's) and deep condition several times~ then go to a salon and have them see what can be done

No, regardless of you do i could actually no longer placed a perm on your hair in the previous you place weave in it... yet i introduced the yaki bulk weave to pass in my hair besides the undeniable fact that it became the 14 inch weave in spite of the undeniable fact that yet my hair ain't all that think of anymore so yeah in the experience that your hair is unquestionably thick then i could get the 18 inch weave to or the sixteen inch weaves i think of could be solid.. yet with the oil i think of roughly any oil could artwork with weave
