The devil is neither omniscient (knows everything) nor omnipresent (being everywhere at once). I'll assume you already know that he's not omnipotent (all powerful). He is ONE spirit being (fallen angel, AKA demon) and has as his workers other demons. They are observers of what we do and say. (then they report back to him) They cannot read our minds. This is why when we pray, we should pray out loud.

Satan is a superior being in every way, so he is very good at tripping us up. Without Christ in us, we stand no chance against the wiles of the devil. Knowing our thoughts? Good question...I think perhaps if he doesn't, he has studied us enough to know about how we will react or respond to something, much the same way a parent will know how their child will act in a given instance.

There is no devil, just as there is no god. The devil is a myth invented to explain why there is evil in the world. If you believe in a good god, you have to have some way of explaining human misery and evil, so you have to invent the devil.
If you have evil thoughts (e.g. "I want to kill that s.o.b.") it is within yourself. It is not evil if you think it, but do not act on it. Obviously, it would be even better if you did not think it, either.

There is no devil. It's a manmade myth. Read "The Origins of Satan" by Elaine Pagels.

he knows almost everything, but his mind reading capabilities are limited.
If you have the mind set on Christ that will certainly stuff him up..
"In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the HELMET of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.

No, if you believe the bible only God is omnipotent and knows your thoughts and intentions. The devil can only influence you to commit sins leaving the choice of whether you commit them or not up to you.

Nope. only Jesus can do such a thing. The devil just tempts us and puts stupid thoughts and worries into our heads. Another interesting thing to point out is that all psychics and fortune tellers are his helpers. The Bible states that in Hell there are tables lined up with "sorcerers" sitting at them, doing much of the same things that these thieves in our society do.

The "Devil" is imaginary. Do you think that Mickey Mouse or the tooth Fairy knows what you are thinking? Neither does the "Devil".
