last night my boyfriend came over and we were watching a movie after it was over we were laying there and i did something and he jokingly said that he'd kill me. and i told him to do it. he said he can't. and i said why? and he said "because i love you." did he mean that he really loved me? we've been together for 7months now and he's 17 years old but he's younger than me. i've never heard him say anything like that since we've been together. did he mean that he loved me??

Love ain't all about age but understanding and maturity. Age means nothing but mutual understanding means alot.

Yes, he sure did, if I had a girlfriend like that and I was in that position and I said it then yes I beleive I would have meant it. He needed to find the right time and reason to say it, this was perfect, you put your life at stake (jokingly) and he told you that he'd never wanna do anything to hurt you in any way and his excuse was the unexplainable, love! Good Luck with it, love is an amazing thing if you both want it!

Of course he did! It takes alot for a guy to admit their feelings and for him to just come and say it, he must mean it. Age don't matter, my boyfriend said I love you to me when he was 17, 3 months after we met and now 19 he still does! And for the 1st time him saying it, watch out to see if he says it more and then u'll know for sure.

Careful with the younger ones.... They can become head over heels way too fast if they have never experienced a relationship with heartbreak...
I dated a younger one once that just new he was in love...I liked him but knew from experience that the relationship was not going to work...at all.
I crushed his heart, but new it was for the best. He learned to wait and grow with someone to love.

I dont think i can tell from that story. it depends how he said it and if he looked sincere when he did. If it was just an offhanded comment then he probly didnt mean it but its best to judge these things for yourself cos u we there and you saw the manner in which he said it. I think if someone means it and says it for the first time they dont usualy just say it as a off handed comment like that.
Seriosly..you need to think about how he said it and his expression.

I think it maybe to soon to really know if he is truly in love with you but I do think he cares about you a lot. Its one thing to be in love and another to just love someone.

it's possible that he could have meant it but now days people do use that word so loose. you can ask him straight up front if he meant it or do something else to bring out that emotion for him to say it again!
