I'm a single mom who would love to get out and casually date but I can't seem to find anyone. I'm not really the club type and there's no one at work that's really interesting. I'm afraid that most guys would shy away from someone who is a single mom. Any ideas?

Actually, there are many guys that would LOVE to have a family. Perhaps you need to use an online dating service that could help you find the guys that you're not able to meet due to your schedule.

Find some outdoor clubs that would be fun for your kids and start doing them....Kayak club, rock climbing, skiing, canoe, hiking, camping, fly fishing...
Besides burning up kid energy, you may also run into a single dad trying to do the same thing. If you are active and still not finding someone, at least you will be in great shape....
If you still don't run into anyone, ask around a PTA meeting, daycare, or soccer practice about likely "candidates...." Pick your target carefully and invite them along on a kid date at a club event....great icebreaker....
I was a single dad with three kids....I found someone wonderful and now I have 4 kids and a great second marriage. We do all kinds of outdoor stuff together and it is great.

Well I am a single father and I have no problem with dating a single mom, alot of guys do not have a problem with dating single moms but for where u can find one i dont know that I am more of a club type.

Wait until the right guy comes along, or maybe post an ad online or in a newspaper? I know it might sound stupid but you never know, I have a friend and he's a guy , yes a guy and he adopted his ex girlfriends son, she was unstable to take care of him and he loved him so know they're family and he's only 18! So there are really nice guys out there... Mayeb if you are older find a guy that's divorced with kids or if you don't want more family find a divorced guy that wants kids but cant have his own or the wife didnt want any... Good luck! Participate in school events from your kid and childrens events and you're bound to find soemone there that is interested!

You and a girlfriend need to go to some sporting events. Take in a concert. When your town has parades or festivals... be there. Volunteer once a month in some capacity. You'll feel good about yourself and just might find Mr. Right there. I realize that it will require getting a sitter and that may be a problem. Hopefully you have relatives nearby who can help you out. The thing is.... you just have to put yourself out there. Good luck.

i dont think that you should go out and find him..give it time an in that time i am sure that your paths will cross when the time is right..alot of men i know would date a single mom..as long as you are handling your business then its fine..after i had my daughter i dated but guess what i didnt work out..until i decided to stay by myself for about 2 years no dating nothing no sex either....just getting to know me all over again and doing things by myself like going to the movies dinner..you know little things...and then i meet my current guy.. 2 years we have been together..and he adores my daughter..he doesnt have any kids..but i think that you should not dwell on it and in time the right man will come along..trust me when i tell you that you dont want to go from one bad date to another to another to another..too much drama...also trust me on this pray for a good man..the lord will answer it in time....have patience....good luck and may the lord be your guidance...

At Church, at your childs sports games, at your childs scouting organization, any place you can take your child- if a man likes kids already then it wont be that hard for him to date a single mom.

Get your friends to take you on a short vacation or something. You will find the right guy. And if they dont want to date a mom then what are they doing dating anyhow because dating leads to sex and that leads to children.lol. You will find him.

I think it's really just luck. But we all know that luck can be shifted in your favour so, just keep your eyes open and don't miss any opportunities. Sometimes life delivers things in packages that we don't always expect.
