I used to get them every day, I have been having headaches since I was 6 years old. I went to my doctor last year and he put me on a medicine called elavil (it is an intidepressant, but also used to treat pain) Now i can go weeks without having a headache. It has helped me ALOT! You might ask your doctor about this medicine. Good Luck and I feel for you!

If you're having daily headaches they could come from the following: stress, allergies to scents or foods, not enough sleep, eye strain or eye problems, sensitivity to light and the list goes on and on.

My husband has "Cluster Headaches" which are quite intense and he suffers with these once a year for about a month or so. He has been for a CT Scan but they can't find the reason for his headaches. They simply come like clockwork!

I am mentioning this only because we discovered that there are Headache Clinics that you could go to. The would be best to diagnose exactly what is happening with you.

I do believe that you would require a referral from your own doctor to go to a Headache Clinic so perhaps it would be a good idea to see your family physician again.

You may have a look at the following website, perhaps you'll find some answers or ideas concerning your headaches.

I wish you good health and hope that you find relief soon!

As long as they are mild your Dr. probably won't do anything for them. Could be caused by any number of things allergies, caffeine, birth control, meds, stress, hunger the list is endless I would not worry bout it unless they are extremely painful or are accompanied by blurred vision, weakness on one side, dizziness, and or confusion. I get a headache at least every day and migraines occasionally it's great just find a good pain reliever I like naproxen or ibuprofen Tylenol does nothing for me and if it is migraines your dr will prescribe something for you. Good Luck am sure it's nothing

It could be anything . If your really concerend about it ask if she could refer you to see a nuerologist. Just be careful of some of those prescription drugs they offer ,I'm talking about the side effects.

You could be getting headaches from your environment like at home if you have no ventilation. IF your car has a bad exhaust that will give you headaches. I would not go back to the same doctor that one sounds like a bone head

Listen... I have already helped five people who do not have ANY MORE HEADACHES. They used to have them daily. Now they have normal lives without any pain.
Find a real Chinese accupuncturist. These guys learned their skill in a matter of ten years. I swear in three to five visits, your headaches will be gone. The alternative is having the headaches. The needles do not hurt. Go... NOW!

if you live in a house w/ natural gas, or have an attached garage, or even have a leak in your exhaust on your car you could have low level CO poisoning. carbon monoxide kills.
at low levels it has S/S of headache, feeling of being tired, restlessness, nausea, watery eyes, ... & so on. the only test available is a blood test to check you carboxy-hemaglobin levels at the Emergency nearest you. you could call the local Fire Dept. & have them check your house for CO too.
this is a worst case scenario, but is a silent killer,
if you have anything in your house that produces combustion, then get a CO detector. its cheap & they save lives
good luck

I would try a second opinion. But it could just be allergies and hay-fever. I have headaches almost daily but I am extremely sensitive to pollen and such.
