You could get an unused unscented tampon and put it in their coffee or other favorite beverage! It expands and fills up almost the whole cup, but you can't see it till you take a sip! When they pull it out, the look on their face = priceless!
Or you could create an e-mail account on yahoo or something with their own name and send them weird e-mails from it.
You could do the old tape over the mouse, if you have a mouse that has a ball on it. Or tape on the office phone where the phone cradle is... the phone rings, they go to pick it up, and it keeps ringing!
Saran wrap over the toilet bowl.
Fake scratch off lottery tickets, fake letter stating they've been selected for something great or something that scares the sh** out of them!
The possibilities are endless!

Last year the week before 1st april, my sister in law found a dead cat in her shed, she was so upset but as we are a family of jokers we had someone phone her on the 1st april claiming they had had a report that she was killing cats and keeping them in her shed so we were sending in the forensics to check for evidence and the local papers to cover the story, it was all over the loud speaker phone and we were in hysterics listening to her trying to explain yes there was a dead cat but she didnt do it, we led her on for at least an hour it was great. she said we would never catch her out again, but we have many times since, so we too are trying to find something to do this year.

Take everybody's toothbrush who's in your house put them in little cups fill the cups with water in the morning take them out and put them back. make sure the cups are the ones that are bigger at the top then the bottom.

well it is a bit mean but funny, its an old trick but put cling film over toilet seat and wait for them to pee all over the place. told ya it was a bit mean lol.

Put fairy liquid or shampoo in the toilet cistern, when they fluch the toilet soap suds go everywhere.
