It is not something you actually cut into 5 pieces. it is also not like using the tally system.

Ok, I think it is four vertical lines, like when counting, or keeping track of something. When you go to add anotherone, you place the next line down the middle of it, like slashing it. I was 4, was cut, and now I am 5. Is this correct?
