I'm African American and my hair is naturally curly/wavy (sort of like Christina Milians when she doesnt have it straightened- if you know her). It's extremly thick and is about mid way down my back- all natural. When it's curly, I fully wash it every 2 days with the Pantenes line for curls or John Friedas line for curls (that one is better). In the shower, I comb thru to help detangle and then I let it dry a little and I style it with different gels, mousses and serums. I staighten it quite often and when its strait, I wash it 1 time a week with Pantenes daily moisture renewal line. I blow dry it with a large round brush and then I flat iron it. That process is 2 1/2 hours MINIMUM if I rush. I trim my hair myself about once every 8 weeks. I keep promising myself to go to a salon and get that done because its uneven on either side- but then again my hair also grows unevenly.

I wash it everyday - I use Pureology Hydrating Shampoo & Conditioner. I use the deep conditioner 1 or 2 times a week. I towel dry and add leave in conditioner mixed with a styling creme (all pureology) and a glossing mist for extra shine. I usually straighten it but I curl it occasionally. I usually get my hair done about every 6-8 weeks trim, color touch up/highlights. I can cut hair but I don't like to do it on myself simply because it's more fun to go to the salon. A really good friend of mine is a hair guru (lol) and she does my hair now. For a cut, color, highlight, wash and style she charges me about $50. She also gives me a discount on the pureology! Retail the shampoo, conditioner and leave in conditioner are $25 each, the glossing mist is $15 I think, the deep conditioner tub is like $40 and I'm not sure how much the syling creme is. It's totally worth it though. It locks in my color and keeps it from fading, makes it so so soft and shiny! I've tried a million different kinds/brands and this is by far the best one. Other products would work well for like a month and then cease to work as well. (I guess my hair is as picky as I am with my eating habits, lol)

My cousin is a beautician and owns her own beauty shop so I get all my cuts, colors, and everything else for free. I go to her every year at the end of March to get my hair cut short for spring/summer and I always have layers. I go back every three to five months, depending on my schedule, to get my color touched up (naturally dark brown hair, went to blonde, now at a light brown), get the dead ends trimmed, and my eyebrows waxed. I wash my hair every other day with Garnier volumizing shampoo and conditioner. I massage shampoo into my scalp and the rest of my hair for a minute and rinse, then I leave the conditioner in for about five minutes and rinse. I put Pantene volumizing gel in my hair while it's still wet/damp, blow dry my it upside down for more fullness, and use my straightening iron on it everyday. If I have some extra time or feel like being different, I take my 1/2" curling iron to the ends of my layers giving me a "Jennifer Aniston" look. My routine usually takes about an hour all together but I like for my hair to be healthy!

Since I have short hair, I wash my hair everyday with shampoo and then I'll use conditioner in my hair. Then I just comb it because I can't do anything else to it until it grows out. I do get my haircut every 6-8 weeks. My last haircut was very short, too short on top. So I am trying to let the top of my hair to grow out so that I can do more things with it.

On a Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday night, I go in the bath and wash my hair with shampoo, but on a Monday I put conditioner on. On a Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday night I just get washed in the shower or bath and don't wash my hair. I squeeze my wet hair with the towel to get the main water off it, then spray with Tresemme Heat Defence Styling Spray, then to make it shine, I spray Bed Head Headbrush. On a morning I straighten my hair with ghd straighteners then spray with Bed Head Headbrush. I get it trimmed about every two to three months ((because I hate going to the hairdressers)), and sometimes I trim my fringe myself. My mam normally pays for my haircuts. I use lots of different shampoos, Pantene, Timotei and L'Oreal just to name a few. xXx

I wash my hair every other day with Tresemme Anti Breakage Shampoo and Conditioner. I try to put a mask in my hair once a week of the same brand of my shampoo and conditioner for consistency. I also try to cut my hair every six weeks and straighten it daily.

Well I have sisterlocks in my hair which are kinda like tiny dreds so for my daily maintenance I dont do anything to it except put a headband on to pull it back and maybe splash a little water on it so it will look a lil fuller. And I wash it once a wk or every other week with shampoo and thats it. I dont put any chemicals (aside from shampoo) or anything in my hair.

i'm the type that loves to grow my hair long and let its natural beauty reflect. so i dont go to the parlour or style it.
i apply oil on the scalp and tips daily and afterwards washes it when i bathe. i apply dove shampoo every 1(1/2) weeks and sometimes even sooner. i dry my hair with a towel and doesnt use the drier coz mine doesnt have an arrangement to blow out cool air. i plate it after it completely dries. i dont comb to the tip coz it usually breaks my hair off.
