that same thing happened to me. but then he ended up asking me out about 2 or so months after she told me that he wants to ask me out. you don't even have to ask surprised just say yes if you like him.

I'd prefer that you don't wait his proposal every time you meet each other , like you can't wait to get words out of his mouth which might be some late , or ignored , and when he asked you , don't show him any surprise ,and take it easy ?

i knew that my bf now was going to ask me out...he was asking all my friends questions about me which they would tell me the questions...my friends were all hinting he was gonna ask me out...like one of my friends kept saying roses are red violets are blue sugar is sweet and *bf's name* likes you...so i knew what was gonna happen...they kept saying that something big is gonna happen with me and this guy today...and stuff like that...i knew it was gonna happen...i'm not a total idiot...anyway i was still shocked cause just the fact that he did like me shocked me...just don't act to surprised cause then it looks fake...my advice is just to GO WITH THE FLOW
