Don't spend any money on a dating site because you saw a picture of someone in your area. The picture may be of a real person but the information about the person and location is made up especially the site called true. Imagine that.When you get to the page where they ask for your credit card info, just back right on out of there.

Most are just flirting and filling an empty spot. Meet in person and take it from there. Yes, it really does work out. A friend of mine met a guy online and she just was so unsure. She loved him and he loved her. He sold everything and put it into her bank account to prove to her he really did love her. Then he came to her. Yes, they got married. Sometimes, it does work out.

When it's online, it's not quite real. Internet=no good substitute for real life. If you meet the person offline, as in--real life, and you start an offline relationship, it might be love, it might not. However, love online isn't exactly reliable.

keep a bit of skepticsm... these online things seem to be a way for people to live out fantasies(not realities) No offense.

It is very very iffy at best, because you have no way to judge just by words alone which are exchanged in these types of relationships. I do my socializing face to face, so I can observe what is happening.
