Bad idea. Leave the company if you want to date him. Your company policy may forbid it (meaning either you or both of you may lose your jobs over it). Otherwise, just be friends. You might find that a romance that has gone bad would make your work life miserable.

Very bad idea. If you 2 started dating other people at your job will find out...and it is just a distraction and akward. If you really want to date him the best thing to do is go work for a different company. I've never dated my boss but I did date someone from a different dept but so many people found out because we had been caught several times eating lunch together...caught one time kissing and he would come to my office to see when I told him not to...just don't do it.

I would say yes that it is a very bad idea to have a relationship with your boss. Both of you can just be friends.

same thing happens to my sister in law. She's a Lawyer and she's working with her boss. They both had been feeling things but never had the courage to talk about it until last month.
Things, she told me, are better then ever.
I Say, go for it.

It's better if it's not your direct supervisor, but still spells trouble. Anytime you date someone from work, your asking for some trouble.
