Most of the websites I have read discuss the potential for beer--especially hoppy ones--to cause allergies, not diminish them. Perhaps it is just the alcohol making me think I feel better...

well, i don't know how much you're drinking in one sitting! haha! but i would say you are a lucky person if beer really alleviates your allergies. for me, any kind of alchohol definitely makes them worse, and even worse as i get older. so party while you can!

Allergy to hops have been reported quite abit...more so than it helping your allergies!!! However, a few studies have shown hops to be an effective sleep aid, so perhaps it does have some calming effect along with the alcohol content ofcourse!!
