i have teenage kids but i have no grandchildren yet!is the thirties old !

You're only as old as you feel. If you tell yourself you're an over-the-hill granny at 38, you will be. Don't let others tell you how to feel at whatever stage in life you're at.
The new James Bond, Daniel Craig, is 38 too. You wouldn't say he was a sad, old grandad, now would you?

You are indeed sad. I am sure if at 38 someone had grandchildren they would shower them with love but you need to 'get a life' if that is all you are looking forward to at your age. Most people having teenage kids would be out enjoying life, not want to baby sit for their family. If you are so desperate for children why not get yourself pregnant?

No not at all.
You're as young as you feel.
My mum is 67 and galavants around like a woman half her age.
She dresses well,recently remarried after being widowed 7 years ago.Is planning her second holiday of the year,goes dancing and does voluntary work.
I am 37(soon to be 38)and I feel better now than I ever did in my 20's when I had tiny children and was a stay at home mum.
No your not old. Life begins at 40 !(if not before)

Stop feeling sorry for yourself, get out there and enjoy your YOUNG life,you still have so much to do before you are past it.
One of those things will be looking after your grandchildren. Go out and treat yourself 2 a makeover and enjoy being young after all life starts at 40.......then again u wouldnt know that as your ONLY 38!!!

Some of the hottest women I know are in their 30s, so take heart. At 48, I find myself seeing women with their teenage daughters and the moms are more attractive that the daughters. I even notice that some of the older teens are eyeing up the moms, so are you a granny? I doubt it.

thirty is a great age I feel more confident about lots now, when i was in my twenty's felt stupid half the time, an for grandchildren can't wait for them my self so i can spoil them rotten keep asking my oldest daughter when she going to have one an she laughs as says i would rob it of her so she holding out a bit longer i just fell broody all the time .

Teens should not be having kids...toooo young! They need to experience life 1st. 38 is not old, but having grandkids will make u feel old. Believe me, I'm 41 with 6 of them. I babysit alot, so it does make you feel young when your having fun until u r called Granny. Ha ha.

I'm 45 and expecting my first two gran babies this year.Four daughters ages 17 -25. Granny... that's my great grandmother. Girl when I was in my thirties my girls had me to busy with them to think about grand babies. Children are still children - preteen & preadults in their teen years.
38 is young girlfriend, believe me. God blessyou.

30"s OLD! NO WAY!!!!!!!!! I will be 50 in a couple of weeks, I have 4 grandchildren......and I am in the best time of my life. Beleive me.....we women ARE like fine wine....we DO get better with age......
