The best day to buy them is "Tuesday morning?" Been traveling for 20 years, only place I hear that has been around Yahoo Answers the past couple days...

The best day and time to buy airline tickets is at least three weeks in advance, preferrably more. The day of week doesn't matter, but if you plan your travel in advance you will get very reasonable prices.

if your looking for the best rates wait until the week after easter. all the rates will drop bc holiday travel is over. every year i book right after easter and i get the cheapest rates. oh yeah and buy directly from the airline rather than hotwire, they are just trying skim a profit off the top. gooo dluck!
