i have a question!! when we say s.o is my SOUL MATE this soul mate is always from the opposite sex or it can be your best friend? (i'm not talkin' about homosexuals)

In French it's always feminine -- "âme sœur" ("sister spirit")-- because that's how the language works. For me a soul mate, or kindred spirit, can be of either gender. It has nothing to do with sex or sexuality.

I don't really know but I have necer really heard of a soul mate being of the same gender but it could happen. I had a friend when I was in HS and we were so close we actually finished each others sentences. My soul mate happens to be male and we are perfectly suited for each other but we are married to other people so we keep our relationship platonic even though there is heavy chemistry between us.

Yeah my soul mate is my best friend. I know will never argue and she is the only person on this planet that fully understands me. And we are not romanticly involved.
