protect my tattoo from fading, while I go in a tanning booth??

You could cover your tatt with a patch or someting, depending in how large it is. Always use sunscreen on it though. I tan regularly, and mine still look fine. Just keep them coated with spf.

I'm going to get a spray tan because I don't want to tan with my new tattoo but if you insist on tanning then get some labels from an office supply store and cut them to fit your tattoo that should work just fine.

have to go tanning? What does that mean? Sigh...just use a 45 spf everywhere on your body..UV rays are horrible for your skin and bleach out the color in tattoos. Be careful, no more than a few 15 minute sessions....try some body cremes that also help turn your skin slightly browner.

why do you "have" to tan? is it required for attendance? the UV rays are so harmful to your skin and your tattoo. why not get one of those spray tans? if you feel that you must get a "real" tan then you need to cover your tattoo and keep it from being exposed.

Get some spray on tan solution and save your skin from the possibility of skin cancer.

rub on that silly sunbabies sunscreen over it, if it protects the babies tender skin, while spending all day at the beach with new mommies, it should work for you tattoed area as well

Put a dab on sunblock on it.
If you cant do that, just make sure to keep it from drying out

sure spf! and if you put spf on it, you will have a circle of lighter skin, so put spf all over.

cover it with a cloth. thats what i do just cover it with something use tape if you have to.
