There are some moisturisers that are for sensitive skin which help keep legs from being dry and itchy - which you should apply straight after shaving.
I also found if you shave after a long hot bath so the legs soak up the water it helps. If your skin is dry you could try Hydrocortisone cream which treats dermititis etc.
Have you tried Immac/Veet? There is no shaving/waxing at all. You apply the cream, leave for 3 mins and then wipe off with a plastic razor and the hair just comes off. However if your skin is v sensitive this might not work either, but maybe worth trying?

i have eczema and have the same problems. depending on your skin i find if i exfolicate with st ives for all skin types exfoliating wash then shave with a sensitive shaving foam and new razor, then cream with palmers cocoa butter that it minimises itching as i have very sensetive skin but can manage to use these products without a reaction.
but you may find it still itches as you are allergic to some of the ingredeints so do a little area first and see what happens. then every couple of days when in the bath regardless of shaving i use the st ives to keep my skin from getting to dry.
all the instant hair removal creams regardless of being sensitive burn my skin and make it ten times worse so be wary if you try these with sensetive skin.
hope this helps if you try it.

If your skin is that sensitive, a deploritory (cream hair remover) is probably going to be painful.
Try shaving in a hot bath, after soaking about 15 minutes. It will soften up the hair and the skin.
You can also try using a hair minimizing lotion -- they don't actually stop hair growth, but coat the hairs with stuff that's suppose to make them softer and less noticeable so you don't have to shave as often.
There are also "hair-off mittens" which are like sandpaper -- you 'sand' the hair down. That might prove less irritating to your skin.

Hi it sounds like you are not putting enough water or soap on you legs before you shave. I get this worse when Im shave in the bath but in the shower I dont get it. I would recommend Using soap not shavning cream or gel if thats what you use. soap or shower gel is bar far the best and use a shaver with a sensitive soap strip. then moisurise afterwards.

Use hair conditioner... like you use after you shampoo. Sometimes you have some you didn't like or left over.... it works great and I always use disposable razors because they are very inexpensive so you can just use them a couple times and then throw them away before the blades start to irritate you. Old blades are really the worst culprit to irritating your skin so if you have fresh blades after a couple shaves you shouldn't get irritated. After shaving use a good moisturizing lotion and your problems should be solved.

Try to keep your legs moisturized. A lot of the burning occurs because we forget to moisturize properly. Exfoliating might help with the itching. If your legs are sensitive then try a sensitive hair removal cream. You also might want to shave with a good cream. One that has a moisturizer in it. That often helps.

Go to Boots and find a good sensetive body scrub and use it before you shave this stops ingrown hairs and shave burn, use a good quality razorblade like Gillete dont use any of those disposable razorblades as they are crap, then use a showergel for sensetive skin i find that shaving foams arent very good at all, then after you come out of the shower use a good super moisterising body lotion. Garnier have a good one that comes in a red bottle. Also try a lotion called 'tend skin' http://www.hqhair.com/code/products.asp?PageID=579 (a link to it)
I hope this helps, good luck.

Put white vinegar on your legs every day (I do it before going to bed) and your skin will not itch anymore. Then shaving will not be such a problem. I suffered for years before coming up with this solution that works. Just put it on every day, even after the problem has cleared up.

maybe you should try gently exfoliating them before shaving. it will help with the dryness and stop ingrowing hairs which may be causing the itching. baby oil on damp skin after shaving is a great moisturiser.
