Shareaza is the one I have been using. It is good but just like all the others you have to have a good antivirus protector when using it. Avast scans everything as you download it so there are no surprises when you open something.

There are plenty of p2p sites available for downloading music, movies, software etc.,

A good piece of software i use is newsleecher. It users news groups for your downloads. I have ntl broadband so i use news.ntlworld.com. To find your ISP newsgroups use a search engine.

Shareaza is very great. It works with G2 and eMule protocols, you can preview videos while downloading them, you can hide/share whatever you want. I've been using it since 2 years, its great.
