Its amazing because I have the same problem. I love heels. I've been dating my boyfriend for years, I still wear them. He does not have the "short man's complex" like some others. He doesn't mind at all. I am the one who minds. I still wear my heels just not if we go out dancing or something because I don't wanna lay on his head while we're slow dancing but its fine because I would rather wear more comfortable shoes while dancing anyway!

I think you're thinking too much about this, like I do. Enjoy your shoes and enjoy your man. You don't have to give up one to have the other.

I can`t get into short guys. They always seem to have a "short man complex". maybe it`s just the ones I`ve met. I `m with you I couldn`t ditch the shoes. Think of Nicole Kidman....after the divorce she was qouted "Atleast I can wear High Heels now" obviously that had crossed her mind during the marriage.

i too am 5'7" and i wouldn't care at all. now that women are wearing the stripper shoes all the time with the 2 or 3 inch platform, i've had a lot of dates that end up taller than me. and you know what? it ends up getting me MORE dates because women see me with a taller girl and they figure i must have something really going on.

just be urself when ur with him and if he is a potential date as u say he is then he must like u, liking u for what u r and not what u wear when ur with him, if he's a frend then i guess he knows ur penchant for highheels and stuff. what makes u a person is supposed to be the most important thing than what u wear.. Either wise, he is not ur friend if he does not know this simple facts... but if he get's conscious about it then time for compromise as long as u think he's worth it...atta gurl...good luck!

i'm a spike heel fanatic. i mean, i wear stripper shoes to the grocery store, so no way would i give up the heels. and man, who CARES if you are taller than the guy? that is so worn-out that rule that the guy HAS to be taller than the girl. get over it, girls.

I for one like wearing hose, evidently extra expert than the bare leg trashy seem. The bare leg trailer trash seem has long gone on long sufficient, it particularly is time we upward thrust up and commence being concerned approximately our visual charm lower back.

having a relationship with a guy doesnt matter about how tall you are or how short you are as long as you like each other thats ok. nothing needs to be given up as its what you two think not anyone else.

Heck no...your personality is far more important than height. Don't think that guys are so shallow! He'd like you whether you were 5'10" or 4'10".
