If so, does God condone plagierism as evidenced by the comparing the two following passages from the bible:

II KINGS 19
ISAIAH 37

This sort of thing is all over the Christian bible.
just curious what your thoughts are.

The fact is is that this is nothing that can be attributed to God but it can be attributed to HUMANs. Human error.

As far as the contradictions in the bible go it is impossible for God to make contradictions. he is perfect and infallible. and the book is supposedly "inspired" by God.

I KINGS 7

26. And it was an hand breadth thick, and the brim thereof was wrought like the brim of a cup, with flowers of lilies: it contained two thousand baths..

II CHRONICLES 4

5. And the thickness of it was an handbreadth, and the brim of it like the work of the brim of a cup, with flowers of lilies; and it received and held three thousand baths.

Is this an error by God the infallible or by the man who authored this ?
I would think it is not beyond God to know the difference between 2 and 3 thousand.

again the bible is filled with this.

the roman catholic version of the bible is older than the KJV and it had 7 more books that were later deemed by MEN no worthy of inclusion into the "Authorised" KJV!

I believe that we are all created in the "image" of God which means we have intelligence and conscience which raises us above the animal kingdom. The people who wrote the Tanach (OT) were gifted with superior intelligence and insight -- gifts from God. If you read the Bible in Hebrew, you will find humor, puns, satire, etc. Those nuances are lost in translation.

When the Bible was written, it included only the prophets whose prophesies had actually happened and referred to incidents included in the Book. There were many, many prophets predicting the calamities that would befall Israel, but if their prophesies never happened, they were not included.

The people in the 1st century believed that they were actually living in the End Times -- they were not predicting calamities to occur hundreds of centuries later.

There were many, many authors and many of them wrote about the same story with slightly differing twists. Scholars have been able to determine the timeframe when they were written and who wrote them (not "who" by name, but something like a scribe working in David's court, or Temple priests).

Actually before you go point fingers, that is from the Old Testament, Hebrew Bible, number two, the inspiration to write the Bible and to edit the Bible in the year 600+/- BCE was done by God. Just as all good works are inspired by God.
The books of the Bible were brought together by many Jewish Priests so that the message of salvation would not be missed. Alot of text in the Bible when taken literally dont make sense, but the two you mention are used in context, so in the future, before making reference to errors, study the Bible first.
Finally, the stories wer passed down from generation to generation prior to the written form by story tellers, in other words verbally, so this could lead to duplication or additions in the Bible.
But the most absurd thing to say is without studying theology of any sort, that it is not the word of God. Because anyone who has studied it would tell you there is no other way it could have been written.
God bless you always, thanks for the opportunity to spread the Gospel of faith.

It WAS infallible. But then it was actually written as INTERPRETED BY MAN. Man can not begin to comprehend the things God shows one. So after that first interpretation, it has then been interpreted thousands of times from one language to another and from one Bible version to another. Every time, even a minute change takes place, most often much more. Then you have to take into account when YOU read it, YOU are going to interpret what you read differently than the person next to you.
As for the same thing more than once in the Bible, that only serves to point out it was from God, that two different men would get the same message in two entirely different parts of the world and in two different times.

ONLY really ignorant people think the bible is the word of God !

Here's HOW anyone can be beyond the lies and deception of the bible and religion:

Create a private, personal, direct, divine Relationship with Our

Creator and save your Soul from religion.

Only with Our Creator's Love and Peace will we be Truly Free!

Love and Believe in Our Creator;
Love and Believe in Yourself.

Without God, there is No Love; Without religion, there are No Wars!

"religion is Spiritual fraud"; "religion is the Worse invention of humanity" - Jesus Christ, Buddha and any one else with Spiritual intelligence.

It's simple. A woman who has had a child can tell you all about pregnancy, but those who have never had a child can never really know what it feels like. To those Atheist's and unbelievers, you don't know God until you experience God. Pride and arrogance get in one's way. Who is the ignorant, one that has "exprienced " or one that refuses. Faith is believing God, not just believing in God.

The WORTHLESS are milling around. The PATHETIC are stumbling over each other. The HUMILIATED crouch in corners where the smell of PISS is strong. WE the FLOWERS OF CONFUSION hang their heads and wilt, as hope disappears over an horizon of concrete and blood.

It is a very well constructed compilation of different writings. It is well constructed to advance the agenda of a few in and attempt to control the lives of the masses. And, it worked.

It is one of the greatest hoaxes of all time.
