My Yahoo Mail program crashes every time it tries to open one of those advertisements that require Flash Player, because my computer does not HAVE Flash Player. I know I could download it, but this is a work computer that does not allow me to do any downloads, so that is not an option. Is there anything else I can do that would give me just, maybe, an error message and not a total crash & close of the program? They seem to be having more and more of these type of ads and it is getting frustrating. Thanks!

I know the feeling. There are many things I cannot do at work, owing to filters and protocols installed in the system. This is not a real answer, but you may have to avoid doing those things at work.

I know I have to be careful, for if I go to a restricted website (whatever that means), I get a warning and I get flagged at HQ

Hello There I was having that problem a few days back... sometimes it has to do wih what Browser you are using as well... Forexample... I was trying to play the game Crinkler on Washingtonpost.com and it would shut down my browser everytime... But when I opened the same site in IE it worked fine.... Who knows.. :)
