LOL - when it's strong enough, like in some places, it melts woman's panty hose as they wear them. I can burn your eyes easily. Long range problems are usually more the problem.

All rain is acidic (pH less than 7.0) some is just more acidic than others. I don't know of any documented cases of anyone getting sick from exposure to even the most acidic rain.

Acid rain is such a dilute solution it has no effect unless it is allowed to evaporate and concentrate.
