I would guess that since you characterize your concern as "paranoid", that you feel your thoughts don't rationally fit the situation. The fact that your thoughts are causing you distress is unfortunate, but at least gives you an opportunity to gain some personal insight into why you feel this way. It would be much more difficult to find some relief if you were paranoid and didn't know it! The actual meaning behind your concerns about your wife is personal and your best bet is to try to talk it over with a professional.

Here is just a quick idea to get you started- when you find that your having these thoughts, try to see if it happens at a particuliar time or place. What are you thinking about just before you have these thoughts? Try asking yourself, "when I start to worry about my wife...what am I not thinking about (e.g., what am I avoiding?). Good luck.

Look at the flip-side. What's to say she's not harboring the same anxieties--you know, with all the rumors of how there are so many attractive, young Korean women that go after US servicemen in hopes that they'll bring them home with them. You're there...are those rumors just that or what?

As someone wrote above, it's all a matter of how secure you are with yourself, the relationship, and how much you trust one another.

What are you paranoid about? Are you scared she is cheating? What if she is? Life goes on. I have dreams where I see my gf cheating but it's a matter of being secure with yourself. I don't act on any of that and you shouldn't either. Show respect in her as showing her you trust her. If you find that she did, then move on. There are plenty of good girls in this world. Don't let your fantasies take over your life. Say to yourself... did it happen? If don't know chances are it didn't so there is no problem.

Is she back home? That's a common worry for soldiers overseas, Dear John letters are the ultimate kick in the guts. Make sure everytime you talk to her you leave her floating on air.

Because you love her. You're afraid something will go wrong and you're not there to take care of it. Your wife is probably fine and missing you just as much. If you're worried about her cheating, don't. You will start scrutinizing EVERYTHING and then you won't be able to do what you need to. You'll be fine. She's fine.

Paranoid about what exactly??

That she might be cheating on you? Entirely possible. Check with the 1st guy that answered as she's not at my house.

Paranoid about her safety? Hmmm I dunno, women, over the years have learned quite well how to take care of themselves. I suspect she can handle herself in this world. I wouldn't worry about her so much in this respect.

Paranoid about her financially? Only you know that answer. We can't help you there.

Paranoid how? You think she's ill and not telling you? Broke? Living with her mother? Cheating? How? And it is tough being married to a soldier.

Is your wife back home? Perhaps it is not paranoia, but concern for her well-being and peace of mind. If you love her, you care about her and think about her -- that isn't paranoia, that's love.
If she is here...I'm guessing she isn't...by the question. Peace of mind, and anything else, comes from knowing the Saviour. If you know Christ, then put her in His hands, and know that is the safest place she can be!
