if you don't believe in Jesus, nor celebrate Easter (Resurrection Day of Jesus), do you still take the day off on Good Friday? This day is given off because of the death of our Lord Jesus, to reflect on what He did for us. Why would you take it off if you don't believe in Christ? Do you observe all the Christian holidays that like Christmas? This is for all non believers in Christ.

Actually, you all have choices if you want to work. You just don't want to use the holiday that Christians celebrate to make an honest day's wage. You scream about our holidays, yet you take them off just as if you were a Christian. If you truly don't like the ways of the Master (God/Jesus/Holy Spirit) you are hypocrites as you claim Christians are. tisk tisk tisk

if the shoe fits wear it... you non believers are always "judging" the Christians, but when it comes back at you.. you tell them they are judging "all" of you. I challenge you that don't believe in God/Jesus/Holy Spirit to challenge your local and state government on not giving you the holidays that Christians deem as their days to celebrate the birth, death, and resurrection of their Messiah. Let's hear this challenge come across the air waves of our media.

Now I'm addressing you Brown... the other times was general statements for I never said "Brown" in any of them.

Where do you think most of the "Christian" celebrations come from? Its not from the "Pagan" holiday, but from the Word of God.

If many would line up the Christian belief with the Jewish Traditions, they would see how they go hand in hand. I know most Jewish people do not believe Jesus is the long awaiting Messiah, but some are seeing this and coming to Him.

What is your belief, Brown? If you in fact celebrate Christmas, what do you believe in and upon? Are you a Christians, a true believer in the Liviing God?

Hmmm, guess Brown tucked his tail and ran.

i don't get the day off, and if i did, everybody else here would be home, so i would obviously take the day off too.

for me, christian holidays don't have the same meaning. to me, christmas isn't about celebrating the birth of Jesus, its about being able to spend time with my family/friends.

who wouldn't jump at a chance to do that regardless of their beliefs?

hope that answers your question
have a good one

you don't know any of us who answered,
i don't "scream about" your holidays
also, they DO NOT let people in this building on Christmas

looks like you're judging all of us without any actual knowledge...just bitterness
i thought God was the only one who could judge people?

also, everybody's a hypocrite...it's human nature
blame God for that one if you think it's such a terrible trait to have

"you non believers are always "judging" the Christians, but when it comes back at you.. you tell them they are judging "all" of you."
honestly....i'm really just into this discussion now...i'm not trying to be a jerk or anything but you can't be serious with this...
First of all......i still haven't judged you.....you were the one who told me all kinds of things about myself without having ever met me.
Second...you really think that non-believers are the one who judge? wow....

i guess you could be right....but no experience i've ever had would lead me to believe that.

but again.....why fight to come into work?
are you telling me that if nobody worked during Jewish Holidays that you would fight to go into work?

Like i said....i celebrate Chrisian Holidays with family and friends....Christmas as an example is when everyone's around at the same time....and you're saying that because of my beliefs, i should go into work and not be with family/friends?

you can make your points while still being logical...

I am a Christian, and I have never taken Good Friday off nor have been given it as a holiday.

Of course, the fact that it always falls so close to the April 15th tax filing deadline probably has something to do with that.

If I will lose money then I will work. If xians want to give paid holidays to the entire country, why should everyone not take it. Few businesses open on christmas etc, I have no choice but to site home and eat.

I don't have any option about taking the day off. My place of work will be closed as it is for the other Christian holidays in my country.

I'll be celebrating Spring and renewal in nature....

I do not take off Good Friday. I would if my work recognized it, but they don't. I'll take any day off with pay that they are willing to give me. I don't care what they call the holiday. A day off with pay is good.

I celebrate the secular easter meaning Peeps® are goooood.
