lol poor kitty, mine did this once and i finally managed to coax it down with food. Try not to poke anything up the chimney as this may make it climb further up. Place a pillow in the fireplace just to protect kitty should it fall and then put a bowl of strong smelling food such as fish at the bottom...try speaking gently to kitty to coax it down, if this doesnt work simply leave the room for half an hour..(listen at door), if the kitten is frightened it wont try and move until it has calmed down. Lastly be prepared for the mess, cover your furniture, carpet etc with plastic...my cat brought half the chimney down with her. if kitty doesnt come down after a couple of hours then you will have to contact the fire brigade. bath kitty as soon as she is down and keep an eye on her she may need to visit the vet for shock and because of inhaling all the dust in chimney. good luck!!!

she has to be getting hungry soon, i would grab a container of treats or some food and start shaking it. They always come running when they hear that sound. Poor little thing. I hope she comes out soon. if she doesn't i would phone someone like a rescue place and tell them your kitten is stuck in your chimney and they will know what to do or who to go to. Hope this helps you out. :)

Try coaxing them down with food. I'd call the fire brigade, they will pull them down. You would be best putting some kind of cover over the fire so they dont get trapped again.
