I have found that those mose vehement voices suppoting Creationism have no idea the dynamics and complexity of evolution. I have asked Creationists to tell me what Evolution is, and always they say "Darwin" and say "survival of the fittest."
As a student with a degree in anthropology (and in school completing her degree in biology), I laugh at them and they have absolutely no clue, and I tell them so, and they get upset.
I find that it is the uneducated that are most stout in following their beliefs. They don't know, and don't care to know.
PS James B, what about your little dogs? Kittens? Cows? That is human-influenced genetic selection that has taken place over thousands of years. Bird flu? The Pandemic of 1918? Bubonic Plague? Or most common and horrific--the streptococcus superbug found inhospitals and other sterile envifonments, which now is immune even to bleach.
Evolution isn't just about apes and bones, buddy-boy. How about you actually educate yourself--or are you content in ignorance??

Man from dust, woman from bones of man. Doesn't that sound like an evolutionary process?
Daniel 12:4 "Knowledge will be increased"
How did Daniel know the human mind would become smarter within time? Once again, that is another evolutionaty process.

in the beginning there is death. all joshua kane's meet at birth. Joshua kane 1, never forgets the encounter. With very few exceptions, most other humans always forget. This situation is never conducted with the brain or the heart (as one might expect) but with the genitals. The tinglings we feel between our legs are not always caused by desire or fear. Mostly, it documents our negotiations with the Clattering Skeleton.

Hey, Songbird, if someone with as much education as you have can't give a better response than that, you'd better get your money back. Though I'm a Philosophy major and try to be open-minded to others views, I can't stand incoherent and rambling psychobabble either written, or spoken.

Probably for the same reason evolutionists quote evidence out of context, or isolated from contrary evidence.

Creationists lie all the time. They seem to think that by lying for their god, they will go to heaven.
