Waxing would be best, but as far as cost would be more expensive. I'd suggest nairing in smaller sections timing yourself in each section, wiping the nair off with a soapy cloth, then showering directly after. I do it that way for my legs, and I never get burns.

Well I would stop using Nair and just wax. But if you really want to use it then just see how it feels when you put it on. If it starts to burn even the slightest bit, take it off. But if you still get burns put Aloe Vera on them and it should help them heal fast.
My dad wanted to take the hair off his back for my mom before she returned and so he had me wax, burn, and Nair it all off. The most efficient was to wax and it grows back lighter and not as much. Well burning didn't work because it didn't get to the root and besides that it scared the crap outta me. The Nair burned my father and he still has a scar. For days he was in pain. So he got aloe Vera that he sprayed, rubbed, and permanently attached to his burn. So I would really suggest not using it anymore. Waxing, though it hurts, is just better all around.

You should stop using Nair and get your back waxed. You'll only have to do it like twice a year... if that. And it keeps your back smooth and hairless. Much better than getting burned and having to do stupid shaving.

your skin is too sensitive. the chemicals are way to strong for your skin. im allergic to nair...but before i started to break out in rashes i would get burns if i left it on too long or rubbed it off. like sensitvie areas. i suggests dont use anymore..your more than likely to get allergic. try wax it is easy and fast. or just shave.

your leaving it on too long, try to see if nair makes a line for "sensitive skin" or "aloe vera" this way you can avoid burning yourself. try to reduce the time you use it, if not put some baby oil on before hand so it can moisterize your skin.

Apply a thin layer of vaseline over your skin first, where you will apply the nair.

You're probably leaving it on too long. If you're doing as the bottle says and you're still getting these burns, then decrease the amount of time you leave it on. If the burns still occur, then it's probably due to the sensitivity of your skin and you should probably stop using it all together.
