It's a different world than it was in the 30's and 40's. Diplomacy has to be allowed to play out. My gut reaction is to embargo Iran and sink anything flying an Iranian flag; but it didn't work the last time they took our embassy people hostage and I doubt it'll work this time.

They are the super power of the middle east, they are just trying to assert themselves, they are not a third world country, and do not like being treated like one, they are not going to be pushed around by some country on the other side of the world.
