She is trying to nuzzle you and being just over 7 weeks old is probably missing her mum. kep an eye on her eating and make sure she is managing with solid food ok, if not contact a vet to buy a milk substitute for her, if she is fully weaned then dont worry she is just loving you, enjoy it whilst it lasts, soon she will be terrorizing your household, climbing curtains, scratching furniture, weeing anywhere and everywhere but her litter tray, climbing up chimneys (see other questions)...lol, i think kittens are more work than toddlers but twice as adorable.

She's just being affectionate, and inquisitive, she's learning new things. 7 weeks is a little early for her to be removed from her mother so she's probably feeling insecure. Is she eating her kitten food ok, she may need kitten milk substitute if not. Also nake sure she has a snuggly bed that secure and if possible give her a warm pad so that she is warm at night.
Don't worry to much, its hard being a first time kitten owner.

When my cat George was a kitten he used to nuzzle on my neck, I thought he was not weaned probally and packined. I then sought professional advice and it turned out that it was a love/comfort thing. He is now 4yrs old and still does it - only now he uses he claws and it hurts like hell to the point that he make me bleed. It seems to be something that he just cannot help doing especially when he is tired.

Not sure it's the same with cats but when dogs have puppies, the mother eats food, then sicks it back up for the puppies to eat. She may think you're her mother and this is her natural instinct.

She's asking you to wash her! Her mummy would wash her with her tongue, that's what she wants you to do! Get an exfoliating glove and rub her gently with it - it'll feel like her mummy's tongue. You can get them from Boots, they're about £2 each.
She loves you! Bless her heart xxxxx

She's being cute and affectionate but at that age she's also looking for somewhere where milk comes out.
