It's early in the day and I'm dieing of seasonal allergies. I have no medication on me. Is there anything I can eat, drink, or do to supress my allergies? (Runny nose, itchy watery eyes, sneezing, the usual.)

well without medications the only thing I can say is to completely remove yourself from contact with the allergen... (dust, mold/mould, grass pollen...etc).... of course plenty of water helps.... medications such as antihistimines and H-2 receptor blockers (found commonly in antiacid medications)....have you been tested to know what your triggers are.... since you have allergies your body always recognizes.. (memory immune cells) the substances that triggers an allergic response and each time will react stronger.... some allergist recommend.. allergy shots.. to densensitize your system... I happen to really not be a big supporter of that.. but has been shown to work... but allergies are horribly... irritating... uncomfortable.. lead into sinus pain and pressure.. yuck... prolly should go pick up some OTC meds and find out what works.. claritin... allergra.. alavert.... zyrtec... or see your PCP or an allergist... :-?? prolly make ya feel much better.. anyways good luck...

I've tried all the anti-histamine drugs out there, and the only thing which helps my seasonal pollen related allergies without side-effects and drugs are homeopathic allergy drops, take a trip to the health food store, and purchase some, you choose the drops which are related to your current allergies,it really helps!

If you have any local raw honey in the house a spoonful can help.
