"sequelae" just means a complication. so the most likely complication of an injection site would be infection or inflammation. the area would look erythematous (red and warm to touch), plus it would probably hurt.

It's when bad things happen at the injection site. Such as infiltration, inflammation, infection, abscess, etc.
