Russian intelligence has reported that America will try and secretly attack Iran on the 6th of April. Yet again America shows complete disregard for national deplomacy and discussion. Will this complete disregard for international law be the camel that broke the camels back?

Russian media are sounding alarms. In February, ultra-nationalist leader Vladimir Shirinovsky warned that the US would launch a strike against Tehran at the end of this month. Then last week, the Russian News and Information Agency Novosti (RIA-Novosti) quoted military experts predicting the US will attack Iran on April 6th, Good Friday. According to RIA-Novosti, the imminent assault will target Iranian air and naval defense capabilities, armed forces headquarters as well as key economic assets and administration headquarters. Massive air strikes will be deployed, possibly tactical nuclear weapons as well, and the Bush administration will attempt to exploit the resulting chaos and political unrest by installing a pro-US government.

Is it America that shows complete disregard for national diplomacy and discussion....OR.....is it Iran that refuses to comply with the pre-condition that it stop enrichment of uranium to negotiate with the UN?

The exact timing of an attack on Iran is highly speculative. If Russian intel announced it, then there is no secret.

Attack Date of 6th of April 4am.
If an attack occurred on the 5th of April it wouldn't it be more of a secret? Or the first of April. It would be quite a joke to think that the attack is a joke and not a real attack. The time of 4am that is widely reported is a good enough time, just before fajr the dawn prayer.

Iran's calendar
Iran doesn't use the same calendar as the West and Muslims do not celebrate Good Friday.

06/04/07 = 17/01/13/1386
So the 6th of April in Iran would be Farvardin فروردین. Farvardin started on the 20th of March. So, that would mean the attack would be on the 17th of Farvardin. 17/01/13/1386 by the Iranian calendar.

06/04/07 = 18/03/1428
On the Muslim calendar it would be 18 Raby` al-awal 1428 A.H. or 18/03/1428

Iran seems to dispute just about everything. Iran always claims to be right and every other country is wrong....

Military confrontation may be on the horizon.

In addition to the British naval vessels at the Diego Garcia atoll in the Indian ocean, there is a multi-national force in the Persian Gulf. The British HMS Cornwall aircraft carrier strike group, the American aircraft carrier strike group Bremerton-based aircraft carrier CVN-74 John C. Stennis, the American aircraft carrier strike group USS Dwight D. Eisenhower and the French nuclear carrier Charles de Gaulle and its task force are all in close appoximation in the Persian Gulf. The USS Nimitz may also be in the Persian Gulf as it was scheduled for its WESTPAC07 deployment to replace the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower.

If there was some top secret plan to attack Iran on a certain up and coming date i highly doubt it would be leaked out over the internet.
But lets just say for a moment that you are right. That this is true. If it is true without a doubt the date would have been changed from the 6th to another date.
Dont believe everything you read online.

So much for the bombing being covert. As for the issue itself, It makes no real sense. If Iran declares war on the United States in it's current position, we're in trouble due to the fact that nearly all our troops have been put in Iraq. Not only that, but straight up bombing Iran without regard to the prisoners there is not only risky, but a hazardous risk to the lives of the POW. Diplomacy should be used, yes, but also an embargo, even invasion wouldn't be bad ideas.

I have no idea where you Meatheads get this info....You are the 4th Ive seen..Amazing how a few insignificant Liberals know more than the entire governmental body.
I suspect that all will be quiet on April 6
If you believe this crap, which you no doubt do, I have a bridge in Brooklyn you might be interested at a really good price.

I also heard that as of April 7, every Liberal in the nation will be drafted into military service, and sent to Iran / Iraq with no training or weapons...and the current military is coming home.....Good Luck with Abdul, Skippy

The straw that broke the camels back.

We need to re-write international law anyways.... That´s the problem with being good. Even if you know someone has done wrong or wants to do wrong, you can´t do anything about it or you sink to his level. Then when the bad thing happens, you´ll be blamed for not stopping it.

Damned if we do, damned if we don´t. and the world will always be jealous, nobody hates america they are only jealous. I mean when you have problems like "too much food" can you blame em...

Russian Intelligence hasn't reported it. Some "journalist" from Russia allegedly wrote this drivel.

Are you that unaware of foreign affairs that you actually believe the Russians would be given this information?

Wow.

Since your on this site, I doubt that you have a direct link to the white house, or the kremlin. So, since you can't do anything about it, why not just wait till April 7th to see if the rumors have come true...then ask your question.
