Pssst, Jesus was a real person, ask anyone.

No one, not even "scientists", not even "scholars" debate that Jesus actually existed, He was a real person indeed. The argument is only whether He was the Son of God or just another prophet.

The man, Jesus was a philosopher and teacher. The mythical Jesus had traits from pagan and Greek sources. It is noteworthy that Augustus Caeser was proclaimed a son of god and at his birth a comet was said to have appeared to mark the event - sound familiar? You can see this from Roman Coins from his era.

I now study Buddhism but I am going to tell you that Jesus did historically exist. Before I get atheists screaming that he didn't there is a book called 'The Historical Jesus' that documents his existence, however, does not support much of the dogma attached to him. On another note, I believe that Jesus' teachings were influenced by the Buddha.

The chronology of Jesus is uncertain, disputed, and perhaps impossible to ascertain definitively based on available evidence. The texts used in chronological reconstruction, the four canonical gospels, provide few clear dates — including the year of Jesus's birth, death, and age at death. (Dates for rulers and high priests are known from other sources). Moreover, the material unique to each gospel further complicates the discernment of one, harmonized chronology.

Zeus is one.
In the greek myth, Zeus was born in a cave, with animals to keep him warm (sound familiar?) and wise men travelled far to give him gifts (sound familiar?).
There are several Mycenean myths that were plagerized for the myth of Jesus too.
All mythology is just that, stories and fairy tales.
This one is no different.
