I think that the extra acidity in your stomach is definitly related to the amount of alcohol you've been drinking lately, so my first suggestion would be to stop drinking for a while and to stay away from foods that contain a lot of acid (tomatoes/tomato sauce, milk, orange juice, pop...). Drink lots of water and just be smart about the things you eat. If the problem persists, then you might want to see a doctor because that might mean that you need medication or it might be something a bit more serious like an ulcer. And remember, ulcers can lead to stomach cancer if left untreated. I hope this helps.

Skip the alcohol, fats and spices. Elevate your shoulders when you sleep with an extra pillow.Do not drink or eat anything for 3 hours before going to bed. That keeps the acids from liquifying and running up into your throat.Soda and orange juice have lots of acid and should be avoided also.If making these changes doesn't help or if your stool turns black go to your dr.It could be more serious so try this for a couple days ,only until you see if it works or you. This is what my dr recommended for me,and it worked for me
