My boyfriend is the greatest and we are so happy together. He has never given me any reason not to trust him. Every time he goes away, however, I get a nervous pit in my stomach. I feel like I may not trust him and I cant figure out why. We have talked about it but it is hurting our relationship because I cant get over the feelings. Should I see a counselor?

Test him. Whether or not this is the BEST thing to do..... I don't know, but if you have a feeling, look in to it, don't allow yourself to be hurt but don't shut yourself down either. My girlfriend says she gets that feeling too, but she talks to me about it and I reassure her that I love her more than anything and everything gets even better. So talk to him about it......and I'm sure he won't let you down. Good Luck!! :)

i have this too. But is it because youve had past relationships with guys that have cheated or treated you badly?

If he has given you no reason not to trust him at all. i would talk it through with him, somehow it could build up the trust even more/. just by talking about the smallest things that worry you too. If this does not help i would advise going to doc/councillor

Good Luck
