Yeah - don't pull it. Try to see a dentist soon. If you don't have insurance, you will find dentists that will work with you on a payment plan.

It sounds like you have a serious gum problem where that tooth is located. The tooth is not anchored to the bone properly. That's what will happen when there is a gum infection.
Have this looked at asap. There may be some treatment that they can do that will stabilize the tooth.
If it does need extracted, it should be a simple extraction.
Just an FYI: when a tooth is extracted, all of the nerves go with the tooth. Nothing is left.

If your tooth falls out it is unlikely that you will have an exposed nerve, so don't worry about that, but wouldn't you prefer to save the tooth if you can? When you get older you'll be glad to have as many teeth left as you can, believe me! Why not visit a dentist and take his advice?

If you are 22, it could be a wisdom tooth. Are you sure it isn't a new tooth?

If I was you I'd just get it pulled out and forget it. If it's that loose it's beyond saving anyway. Once it's out you'll be a little sore for a couple days, then it will be ok. At least you'll never have anymore trouble from that one.
