Look into getting a EuroRail pass. The trains are very expensive here in Switzerland and you can only get discounts if you actually live here. The service however is worth every franc that you pay for it.

The Swiss Pass is probably your best bet, but it offers only a discount, not a free ride on both the Pilatus and Jungfrau trains. That's because those trains are run by independent companies.
The youth pass is only second class, Swiss pass is either first or second. Not all the Golden Pass panoramics have a second-class panorama car (but you can go in it if there is one). I'm not sure if this is always the case, but you may only have a second class panorama car for the Zweisimmen-Montreux part. (That is the better part.)
If most of your travelling is just on three days, the Flexi Pass might be better, especially since there's no six-day option for the Swiss Pass, you can do 4 or 8.

If your tavel is so often, like almost everyday, swiss pass is fine. If you travel 2 to 3 out of 6 days, maybe check on the day pass where you could travel the whole day. Panoramic is not part but you have to add more. Only normal inter regional trains you can ride with swiss pass. Jungfrau and Pilatus is good but why not Mattehorn? Its nice there with winte sports. That is in Zermatt then to Matterhorn, trust me, you wont regret.

Actually I will be going to Switzerland this weekend. From what i have learnt from the net and from my calculations a half fare card would be fair enough and cheaper for you instead of an 8 day swiss youth pass.but ultimately you need to calculate ur whole journey plus all the extra trips that you will take there.that should decide ur travel expenses and then u can choose ur pass.
U can also consider a swiss flexi pass of 3 or 4 days depending upon ur days of travel.u can get some nice tips on the website below
If u need any other help then u can inform me .

The Swiss bypass incorporates panoramic trains, even with the reality so you might pay a reservation fee of about 10 CHF in accordance to individual. i do not imagine all panoramic trains have second-type panorama vehicles (even with the reality that i understand a minimum of a few do), so that you may be out of success with the young children bypass, that is only for second type. yet they have "established" vehicles as well, which aren't from now on undesirable. Swiss bypass may be both first or second.

We haven't been to Switzerland for three years, no doubt there have been changes in the "pass" system since then. Swiss Pass may seem expensive, but Switzerland is not a cheap country. You will benefit from the ability to use the amazingly efficient public transport system at will. It is an excellent & strongly recommended investment.
