There are those people who think he answers them everyday anyway. but if you mean he answers them they way people answer each other with the power of speech I think it would be hilarious because those people who would be praying for something would get such a shock if someone suddenly spoke to them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Or how about if you could e-mail God or text him?

Actually God does, but not in a literal way or in a way you'd understand right away. Interestingly, you don't mention prayers, which is a good point. God answers the questions that aren't asked in prayer because we misunderstand what God is. God is the spark of life, the actual force that animates all living things. God is not a white haired father figure standing in judgement of humanity's petty offenses. God did not write the Bible, either, men did. The religions that grew up around God's concept have been the biggest mistake that occurred in our planet's history. Only after we die will we witness the true lifestream in which we have participated for untold millenia.

God does promise to answer the prayers of His people, providing they are in accord with His perfect will. God's perfect will is exercised on this earth, and that is why the world is held together. I understand your point for if every man were able to control God, the world would be chaotic. But such is not the case and points to your lack of understanding concerning a prayer answering God.

The idea that I hear from christians is generally that god answers their prayers, but they don't know how or when....until often years later when they look back at some event and say "oh, that must have been god".
With christianity, it's always about interpretation.

GOD does answer people, the promblem is that they really don't listen to him. if they just stop and take time to hear him they will get their answer. but the problem is that people do things the way they want anyway, and not what GOD answers

God really does answer people. God has answered EVERY one of my prayers. Most of the time, His answer has been "No." But He has never failed to answer me.

How do you think He won't answer one? If you listen carefully and if your mind is sufficiently silent you can definitely hear his whispers in the conscience. Ask the question silently, wait for half an hour and be silent and watchful, you will hear it.
