I hope you do, smoking is very bad for you. I quit alittle over a year ago. Don't get me wrong, it is hard and I will sometimes try to pick one up especially when I'm stressed. Just try weaning yourself. Smoke less and less everyday till you finally stop. Its the best thing, smokers often have bad breath and they don't smell the best either. Emphesemia and lung cancer and an oxygen tank aren't the best things in the world either when you get older. I know its hard, but just think about the quality of life you will have when you quit. Healthier and better smelling, lol. Good luck and God Bless.

I can relate very well. I guess the only thing that will help you is the will to quit. Once you have made that decision, all the help out there will be supportive. If you quit because you think the patch will do it for you, it won't work. It has to be a decision for one or the other. I do wish you success. It is very hard to do but not impossible.

It's tough!
Try tapering off rather than quitting cold turkey. It took me a few months to finally rid myself of the habit and addiction. It's great that you are taking the first step. Hang in.

Have you tried the patch? Changing your regular routine? I did all of that 3 years ago and have been smoke free since. Keep at it! Good luck!
