i wanna play football and run for a long time but i also need to put on about 2 stone, is this possible or should i only focus on one?

Yes you can do cardio and you should be lifting weights. You will want to increase your protein intake as well. You want to build muscle and lose fat. Check out this website for more information.

Cardio is really important in maintaining a healthy body.
As for gaining weight, I would recommend weight lifting. That way you build muscle. Muscle weights more than fat. And burns calories when you're sleeping. That way you are getting toned and gaining weight at the same time. Good luck.

Yes actually if you do some weight training too you will gain weight because muscle weighs heavier than fat .
