with him rejecting me and me rejecting him each did this once... long story short i can't stop thinking about him. what do i do?

Important is not to think about it 24/7.
Not everybody can find another guy the next day, so if you won't I can suggest you to get a new hobby (dancing, painting, sculpture etc), or a couple of them, go out with friends more often, go to gym, to camping, go shopping etc etc etc. It doesn't really matter what will you do, the final effect should be that you will be so busy with all these things, that you won't have time to think about him ;)

Start talking to other guys, once you find someone better, you'll totally forget about him. If you're shy just chat it up on myspace or something. Just talk, make friends but be careful. If you ever think about meeting up with someone don't go alone and tell people where you are going. Lotsa creeps out there. Better to be safe, not sorry.

According to Dr. Drew and Loveline in the old days....takes about 6 months to get over someone from the last time to talk to or see them. So, don't search him out or call him as the 6 months would start over again. I know it is hard, but consume your life in other activities or other men.

the last time i rejected a guy...meaning didn't heed his rejection but sort of showing interest in me, got me 5 or more years of wandering if he will ever be interested in me again! ouch, that something u call immaturity eh!
be bold enough gurl...go talk to him again, and if he isnt that bad at all...hmmm, you know what should comes next!
